Checking out the ducks
Our parents risked our lives once again as they placed us in front of the tiger exhibit, with just a flimsy piece of plexi-glass to save our lives! The tigers are both pictured above (white and yellow one) and they even had a little scuffle in front of us, yikes!A trip to the zoo/park always means a ride on the bear statue. Even after all of these trips, Mom insists on getting our picture on it :)
Mommy laughed at all of us (including Laurie Jo who was attempting a photo at the front of the line). Lucy, Cooper, Lily and I all joined hands and made a run for the playground. It was quite silly to see the four of us trying to quickly make our way there. After a few falls, we decided it was best to just walk on our own.
Cooper and I are both excited about Under Dogs. This is something Mommy clearly remembers when she was a kid. Funny how she loved doing this as a kid but is now worried about the safety of this stunt. She decided she would push us, although I can pump my legs and make the swing go on my own.
The Wedding......
Mommy and Daddy's friends, Bob and Kerri, were married last Saturday! We are so happy for the two of them. The wedding was local, which was nice for everyone. The day was absolutely beautiful- Cooper and I went to Grammy's for the day and evening meaning my parents were KID-FREE for a whole entire day, woo hoo (and it meant Grammy was taking us on her pontoon, to the bakery, and let us pretty much do whatever we wanted, shhh, don't tell my parents!)
Mommy was a bridesmaid and Daddy was volunteered to do the video taping of the ceremony. Mommy was very honored to take such a special part in Bob and Kerri's day!Mommy and her friend Cory were both in the wedding- they wore a plum, knee-length strapless dress and had bright colored flowers from our local Farmer's Market.
Bob has a daughter, Chloe, who is pictured above. Mommy took this photo of Kerri and Chloe in the limo and loves it. Chloe is a fun little girl who has a swimming pool in her yard (Bob and Kerri's) so she is a great friend to have :)
Here is the wedding party posing outside of the venue. They had a few minutes to rehearse and master their grand entrance moves!
The Bridesmaids minus Gracie
Daddy hung out with Ruth and Jeff most of the day, while Mommy did pictures and other Bridesmaid duties. Ruth and Jeff are going to Cabo with Mommy and Daddy this spring! Cheese! My girlfriend Lily went to the wedding reception (wish I could have danced with her), but Mommy had fun dancing with the kids and doing the chicken dance in my place
Good friends Ruth, Kerri and Cory
Shauna, Laurie Jo, and ring bearer Easton (love the Vikings vest buddy!)
Cheers to Kerri and Bob- may they have many wonderful years of love and happiness, and maybe a baby in the next few years (Mommy told me to add that last part in there).
What makes this past week super duper!?!?! I am riding my bike almost all by myself with just TWO wheels. I get a bit excited and will start to make "crazy turns" but overall, I am doing really well! I am very determined and will spend a "good amount" of time practicing in the driveway. Liberty still needs to learn how to get out of my way... crazy boy coming through!Mommy attended a crisis training this week at school, so Amanda came to watch us. Amanda is so much fun because she lets us play with everything Mom dislikes.... kid coffee pot (it actually works but leaks water=mess), Play-Doh, and our jumpy house (a fun, but heavy pain the rear). Amanda posted this photo and heading on her facebook page, "A Jumpy House Kinda Day!" It sure was!
Papa and Grandma Sharon came this weekend to take us out to lunch and watch me play soccer. I have 6 soccer games/practices. We always play on Saturday afternoon. I am the only 4 year old on my U-6 team. Mom and Dad mostly remind me to go after the ball, not chase the kids. I also enjoy running up and down the sidelines waving to them (about 10 times)- once again, my parents nag me to pay attention and go after the ball. Even so, they are always proud of me and are just happy to know that I am having fun out there!
Papa and Cooper cuddle up in the chilly weather during the game.
Warming up
Quinton was filling me in with my role as a defender. We switch positions throughout the game, I do best on offense so far!
This is my coach, Kelly. Mommy got out of coaching as Kelly and her husband both have soccer experience and offered to coach. Mommy was SO thankful for this as she is quite busy these days. She does have to fill in the next two Saturdays for Kelly, so it shall be interesting to see how Mommy "waters down" practices for 4 and 5 year olds. After the game, I received a Fruit by the Foot for snack (each week a player brings a snack, one of my favorite reasons to play). While chewing away, I posed for a photo with Papa and Grandma Sharon.
and "me too" couldn't miss out on a photo op either.
