To Infinity and Beyond!

Happy Halloween!  We are excited to share our fun Halloween pictures with you!  Mommy planned our costumes months ago when she thought about what Cooper and I were both "into" this year.  She knew within a few minutes that Toy Story was the way to go.  We both love the Toy Story movies and even have some lines memorized ("I come in peace!")  Mommy bought my costume early and recalled that Finley (her job-share partner's son) wore a Buzz costume last year.  It was awesome that Heather let us borrow it as it fit Cooper perfectly!  He loved the inflatable wings the most.
Halloween fell on my preschool day and it was the first time in 4 years where Mommy had the day off from teaching. This meant she was able to join my class for the photo op and she brought Cooper to meet some friends at the library for their Halloween special event.
Buzz was a chick magnet.  Just look at "Jessie" (another character from the movie) gazing at Buzz.  Kids were SO excited to see Buzz Lightyear; he was celebrity status that day.
Even our friend, Lucy, couldn't get enough of our little Buzz Lightyear.  While Cooper and friends were at the library, I had a ton of fun at preschool with stations, songs, snacks and prizes.
That night, we met with our neighbors for trick or treating around the "loop."  Before we left, Mommy captured some great pictures of her favorite Woody and Buzz Lightyear.
 Hi-ya Partner!
Buzz thought he would attempt to take flight on his Radio Flyer tricycle.
He was loving the attention with pictures.... we love his expressions.
Cooper then wanted to demonstrate "BEYOND" which is his way of saying "To Infinity and Beyond!" from the movie.....
Yep, just like that, our little Buzz landed and was ready to get some treats.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch (aka our house).....Liberty was not amused by the costume we bought for her this year (she is horse #5 with a jockey on her back).  I think the perfect racing name for her is Liberty's Freedom Ride, although she really didn't escape as much as she probably wanted to.
Our neighborhood is quite good at cheating during Halloween~ we all ride on golf carts which makes it way more manageable as the homes are pretty spread out.  "Grandma" Jean (not really our Grandma but we still call her that) rode along on our (Donny's) cart.
I mostly loved ringing the doorbell, where Cooper mostly loved walking inside of people's homes to check it out.  We had a ridiculous amount of candy, full size bars in fact, along with juice boxes, chips, Halloween trinkets/toys, and money!
 Previously......
The night before Halloween, we carved our pumpkins.  Cooper wanted a happy face, I chose a scary face (Daddy did too) and Mommy chose a spooky Mickey Mouse pumpkin design.  She is thinking Disney this year :)
 Ta- Da~ Scary!
And we couldn't get a clear photo of our lit pupmkins, so this is the best you get for the group shot.
Other special happenings this week include cuddle time with Jenny's (daycare mama) 5 little puppies!  Well actually, they are not Jenny's puppies, they are Marley's puppies.  Marley is a shih-tzu who delivered 5 girls last week.  They are sooooo sweet and we love cuddling with them.  Our parents already told us with a firm "NO" when we asked if we could have one of these for our house.  Liberty is nearing 10 years old and although she is good most of the time, our parents have told us she is our last dog (we will have to see about that....right Grandma!!!)
This past weekend, we went to Grandma's house as Daddy is hunting the MN deer opener.  Of course, Cooper loves wearing her reading glasses and playing with the Nook.  Our cousins all came over to play and have dinner with us.  It was a major zoo!
Our cousin Sam, Cooper and I making a huge monkey pile.  This picture scares Mommy to pieces.  Maybe just another reason to NOT have another child (Daddy would love 3 boys), but this is what Mommy would have to deal with all day long!
Poor baby Jimmy was really sick with a cruddy cold, so no smiles from him :(  We hope he gets better soon.  Just look how big he is getting (6 months old now!)  Mommy loves having us play with big cousins Sam and Lexi.  She hardly saw the two of us boys for hours~ our cousins kept us busy and happy the entire time!

We had a great Halloween and Mommy already looks forward to thinking about our duo costume for next year!  Happy November....it's a month of giving thanks for our many blessings.  What are you thankful for this season?!?!?
