In other news, we hit the Children's Museum this week for a morning of work. We first drove to the drive-up bank to collect tons of money.
Next, we built a home for ourselves and girlfriends Lily and Lucy.
We thought we would make a quick stop at the grocery store for a carton of milk until Lily came along and decided we needed more than that. We were ready to feed a small village.
We stopped at the museum's cafe for some eggs, pizza, hamburgers, fries, pancakes, and some other very bland and rubbery foods. It was a busy morning at the museum visiting all of the areas around town!
The next day, we woke to SNOW showers! It is hard to see in these pictures, but the snow was wet and falling down hard. We were very excited for snow, but to my dismay, it melted quickly which means it wasn't time for the kitty cat's seasonal debut.
At preschool, we went to Fire Station #5 for a visit with firefighters and EMS. While we were there, I was able to sit in a brand new fire engine! While visiting, they actually had an emergency, so the EMS zoomed out of the garage while the preschoolers were pinned to the garage walls by the firefighters. Thankfully, they didn't turn the sirens on until they were on the street which means we didn't have any criers!
Cole and I next to a real firefighter!
Sitting in a 2-day old ambulance, a place my parents hope we never have to actually ride in (and yes, that is "me too" sitting with us as Daddy chaperoned the trip). The firefighter dressed in full gear and told us to not be afraid by the way he looked or the way his voice sounded in all of that gear.
Scared ya! The above photo is NOT what you think.....Cooper is hiding in the Wal-Mart cart with NAIL POLISH all over his hands. While Jenny was shopping, Cooper got his hands on a bottle of nail polish she was buying. He decided to open it and paint everything in the cart without Jenny seeing (she is a nice mama and lets him sit in the big part of the cart). Suddenly, the bottle fell through one of those holes and splattered all over Wal-Mart. I am SOOOOOO glad I was at preschool while this was going on. Mommy received this lovely text and just knew it wasn't good. Cooper keeps us all on our toes.
This weekend, I had hockey practice. Daddy took the camera and took one whopping picture. I am the only 4 year old without a chair on the ice (see me in the middle). I love all of the games we get to play at hockey, it is so fun!
Mommy and our neighbor Dana, were designers for the hospital's charity luncheon. Their tablescape was titled, "Thanks for Poppin' In!" They have worked for a few months on the design and products for their table. They had so much fun creating this for a wonderful cause. Here is their tablescape....
Cooper was out driving his John Deere and when he stopped in the garage, this is what he was wearing. It's too hard to be mad at this cute stinker!
Congrats again to Uncle Matt and Auntie Jill. We already love our new cousin Emmett and hope to post more pictures of him soon!
