Step by Step... Oh Baby!

My new and super fun bouncy swing!

Meggen, Mommy and Holly

NKOTB- Oh yeah!

Here are those guys my Mommy loves!

Mommy said this is Daddy's competition (dream on Mommy!)

Mommy and I made a mad dash to the cities so that I could go to Grandma Carla's house while Mommy re-lived her childhood dreams.... seeing the New Kids on the Block! Yes, she got all dolled up to see some boy band that she was in love with when she was in middle school. I didn't care because I got to see my wonderful, lovable Grandma who spoils me so much. I didn't cry at all on our way to the cities because I know that Mommy was thinking about stopping at Babies R Us to buy me a bouncy swing for the doorway. I wanted it SOOOO much that I was a perfect angel so that she would stop and buy this for me. I got to bounce in it at Grandma's house and my cousins Lexi and Sam came over to play with me too. While we had fun, Mommy and her high school friends went to the concert to see their favorites (they all love Joey and Donny the best!) She said that everyone there were girls in their thirties, pregnant mommies, and that many fans had NKOTB memorabilia from 15 years ago! She said she didn't feel old for once! Overall, it was a fun, but very short trip. Here are Mommy's favorite pictures from the concert and me bouncing in my new swing!

Big Orange Things

On Sunday, we went to the pumpkin patch. I don't know what the big deal is over those orange, round things, but we bought like 10 of them. I even got my own little pumpkin! Mostly Mommy took me there to take pictures for her scrapbook (more pictures, great....)

It was a nice sunny day but we were only there for a short while. I didn't even get to go on a hayride because the horses were late. Mommy put me on some prickly hay and laughed as she took pictures.

They also put me in a wagon and set me by a barn. I think I look pretty lonely by myself in that picture.

Everyone at the pumpkin patch were smiling and talking to me because they thought I was cute, had chunky cheeks, loved my comb-over, my dimples, blah, blah. The battery then died on Mommy's camera so she was kind of sad that I didn't smile in a lot of them. When we got home, we put the pumpkins on our front steps and in our garden with a scarecrow guy next to it.

From what I have heard, I am going to dress up like one of these round, orange pumpkins for Halloween. Just what I need... my round face with chunky cheeks dressed in a big, round, orange costume. Someone please hide my Mommy's camera so she can't get pictures of this!

Papa and Sharon's Wedding Day Slideshow!

Fantastic Florida!

Florida Fun (Friday events)

Here we are, getting onto our SunCountry flight, bright and early!

You can call me a "jet-setter" because I was a good little boy on our trip to Florida. The flight was 3 hours and 15 minutes and I didn't even cry! Daddy woke me up at 3:45 a.m. on Friday because our flight left at 6:00. I was smiley even at this crazy hour because I was excited for my first trip on an airplane. Daddy bought me a little sweatshirt and sweatpant outfit that even had an airplane on it just for the occassion.

Mommy put Lexi's silly sunglasses on me while I was sleeping!

The reason we all went to Florida was to see Papa get married to Sharon. The wedding was on Saturday at Lover's Key Resort in Bonita Springs, FL. This is one of Papa's favorite places he stays during the winter months. When we landed in Florida, it was a real scorcher! Mommy immediately started taking off my sweatshirt and sweatpants because it was 90 degrees and sticky! We couldn't wait to get to the pool! We had the rest of Friday to just relax and have fun. There were about 30 people there for the wedding, so it was really fun to have lots of attention and fun time with the fam!

Pool Fun!

The pool had a really cool waterfall (Daddy even got a little brave after "a few" and jumped off of it with Uncle Jimmy... Mommy was not amused), so I mostly just stared at the waterfall when I was in the pool. I loved kicking my legs in the water and felt like a little fish. I didn't cry when I went in the water and I didn't want to get out. Mommy was worried about me getting sunburned since I still can't wear sunscreen yet (not until I am six months old, she says).

Auntie Stefanie and Uncle Bruce (yup, that's me snoozing in the sun)

Cousin Sam (we're studs!)

My new cousins (Sharon's grandkids), Cole and Kylie

I am getting a bit cranky at this point!

AT THE BEACH

Snoozin' on the beach

Must have still been sleeping... I missed the drawbridge

(Uncle Jimmy and cousin Sam watched the bridge go up for a nice boat)

Here's my uncle Jimmy and his girlfriend Karri. Everyone teases me because I like to stare and flash my famous smile at her! She's pretty cute Uncle Jim!

Fall Time

Great Grandma Woodward (GG) made me this cozy blue sweater and hat to wear once it got cold outside. Mommy and I went out into the backyard and I got to wear it since it was pretty chilly outside. The sweater has baseball buttons on it and Mommy laughed so hard when she saw me with the hat on (Daddy later said I looked like a Telletubby). I tried to have my picture taken with Liberty, but everytime I was leaning on her, she would jump up and I ended up staring at the sky. Mommy kept trying again and again and I kept crying and crying because Liberty wouldn't let me lie down on her. Instead, I just did tummy time on the itchy grass and Mommy was able to get a few pictures before I was done. Here I am looking so cute at 19 weeks!

Kalahari Trip

Hi Friends! Daddy had a conference at the Kalahari Resort, so Mommy and I went along for the two day adventure. I was amazed by all of the safari animal pictures, waterfalls, big fans, and of course, the indoor waterpark! Mommy and Daddy took me to the waterpark and I had a super fun time. I didn't cry at all when I was there, except for I did get a little tired after an hour (a lot of stimulation). I wore my really cool swimsuit from Grandma Lois and lots of people kept stopping us to tell me how I cute I looked!

My favorite waterpark area was the lazy river and the coconut swings. I even went down a hippo waterslide for kids. Overall, it was a great trip and I was ready for home after a few days (Mommy and Daddy were also because I didn't sleep hardly at all both nights we were there... I was just too excited to sleep!) My next big trip is in one week when we go to Florida for Papa's wedding! I can't wait to see what kind of pool they have there for me!

Growing Boy!

Today I had my four month check up and Mommy and Daddy were betting on my weight. Both were wrong and guessed that I was around 13 pounds. I now weigh a "hefty" 14 pounds, 4 ounces! My friend, Dr. Van de Loo, and nurse Shannon, were so happy to see me. I was happy to see them too and I gave them lots of cute smiles, in hopes they wouldn't give me those shots. Unfortuantely, I still had 3 shots today and had to drink some pretty delicious medicine. I was brave though and only cried for a few minutes. I am almost two feet tall (I need to grow 1/2 inch more). The doctor said I am in the 50% for my weight and 10% for my height (thanks to my shorty parents!!!) He also said that my head isn't too flat for a helmet... yeah! I would love to be an astronaut, but not until I am older. I also get to start eating big people food such as cereal, vegetables and fruit! This was the most exciting news of all! I can't wait to see what Mommy is going to feed me first (I think she mentioned vegetables...yum!) I don't need to go back to see my buddies at the clinic (they all know me there from when I was just a "peanut") for another two months. I think I am going to take it easy this afternoon and take some naps. Mommy keeps giving me some pink stuff to swallow to help me feel dreamy and relaxed. Night, night for now....

Yummy in my Tummy

I had the most amazing stuff yesterday! Mommy said I was big enough to have cereal now that I am 17 weeks old! I was really excited to eat something besides same ol' milk. I guess I was a little messy from eating. My parents were surprised that I opened my mouth and swallowed the cereal without spitting it out too much (I don't know why they thought I would do that anyways). I heard Mommy telling Daddy that she hoped that I would sleep through the night. Just to be a stinker, I still got up at 1:00 in the morning (hee, hee). I mostly get up in the middle of the night because I miss my Mommy and Daddy and just need to make sure that they know I am still here. One of these nights, I will probably just want to sleep it out and I am sure Mommy and Daddy will be so proud of me!

Happy 3 months to Me!

Here I am on my 3rd month birthday! Mommy's friend Bridget gave me these cool shirts for milestone months, so here I am wearing my t-shirt that says "3 MONTHS" on it. I had a great day turning 3 months old (they didn't give me any cake though, just same ol' milk). We also had some professional pictures taken, but just to be a stinker, I didn't smile in them. That's because I was rudely awaken with bells and noisy toys and some strange lady trying to take my picture. Mommy and Daddy said I looked, "sweet" even though I didn't flash my famous, gummy smile. Maybe next time they should schedule my pictures around my naps.
