They stayed for one week at an all-inclusive "luxury" (well, not really, but it was a nice) resort. The weather was HOT, in the high 80's and according to our parents, kids were not allowed there!?!? While they enjoyed the beach, we enjoyed.....snow!
We split our time between Grandma and Grandpa's house in the cities, an overnight stay at Auntie Erin/Uncle Ben's house in the cities and finished with a stay at Grammy's. While at Auntie Erin and Uncle Ben's, we went sledding with cousins Kyra and Bennett.
We went on four-wheeler rides in Grandpa and Grandma's yard and felt spoiled with the 49 degree weather (my parents chuckle at this).
While we looked at monkeys and other animals at the zoo (including my favorite, a monorail ride), my parents enjoyed the grey whales and sea birds (minus the poop on Daddy's leg)
While we enjoyed a jacuzzi tub with Bennett (Rub a Dub Dub.....)
Our parents enjoyed frolicking on the beach, infinity pool and swim up bar
And while they enjoyed authentic Mexican, complete with indigestion and heartburn, we enjoyed many treats, including candy, popcorn and donuts. And Grandma thought she was pretty funny having Cooper take a picture with a Diet Coke since Mommy stated on her 3 page instructions.... "Do not give the boys Diet Coke!"
My parents appreciated the time together, rejuvenating and remembering they actually are a married couple....We cuddled too with Grandpa, Grandma, Grammy, Auntie, Uncle and our cousins!
While we enjoyed playing games, jumping like monkeys, and hanging out together....
The big kids had fun too, chillaxing as they call it.We did some slave labor at Grandpa and Grandma's house as the replaced their flooring and we were eager to assist- Cooper in his hard hat and me in Mommy's old dance costume headband.
Mommy is very excited to know that I can tile and grout floors now as she has been contemplating our kitchen flooring, oh goody!
My parents claim they worked too, but this is the only proof I could find on their camera, Mommy doing water aerobics and both reading books!?!?
And while they were busy "looking cute" and refreshed....
I can't help to think that Cooper and I had a fun week-long vacation too. Thank you to our families for making our trip and my parents trip fantastic!
