Mama Time

What a busy few weeks we had!  We celebrated Mother's Day with many of our favorite girls!  I had my last Sunday School class that morning followed by a special brunch we made for Mama (which in case you are curious, I almost always call Mom "Mama.")
One of the favorite gifts we made for others included this photo collage flower pot.  I can't take credit as Mom found the idea on Pinterest and is proud of the masterpieces!  Everyone loved this gift.
Mommy didn't have a lot of gift requests, other than spending time with us, being pampered all day, and preferably some housework done by Daddy.  We surprised her with some special gifts including the Love You To Pieces card from preschool~ I painted each puzzle piece with love and even signed the bottom with all of my lovely C's and n's.  Jenny had Cooper and I make the bluebird handprints below which was her FAVORITE gift of all. She can't wait to scrapbook it!  Daddy didn't do too bad either with a gift certificate to the day spa.  Mama says we are the best family she could ever have asked for....
We went to the cities to visit Grandma Carla, Great-Grandma Woody, Auntie Stefanie and of course our cousins and the boys.  We snuck in cuddle time with baby Jimmy- he is getting SO big!  Here is our first attempt at a 5 person cousins picture, not too bad!
Mommy has several special godchildren, Lexi being one of them.  They posed for the annual godmother photo...
Auntie Stefanie is my godmother, so we posed for our photo too....
Auntie thought these shirts were PERFECT for her and auntie.  The shirt says, "I can't remember if I'm the good sister or the evil one." Don't ask or else you just get a lot of finger pointing!
We spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's house that night (Daddy headed home) because we planned to meet Laurie Jo, Lucy and Lily at the Mall of America.  In the morning, Mama walked down to see Cooper wearing Grandma's reading glasses and using her Nook Reader.  We were hysterically laughing as it appeared he was catching up with the morning news, bahahahahaha!
Papa and Grandma Sharon gave us a lot of Nickelodeon passes at Christmas and they were soon expiring.  We knew the perfect friends to join us that Monday for a fun filled morning/afternoon.  The best part was the park area was so quiet that we walked right onto rides and our Moms didn't have to stress about losing one of us!
We had a great morning riding on all of our favorite attractions.  We even stopped to pose for some group photos (can you tell that Laurie Jo was making a scene trying to get us to smile and even asked Lucy where her belly button was:))
The cars were my favorite~ they would whip around the circle super fast and I kept thinking we were going to run into Lily's car!  Laurie Jo and I were laughing nonstop!  Mommy and the two little ones (Cooper and Lucy) sat this one out, thankfully (spinning rides=sick mama).
We stopped for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.  Cooper was too tired to enjoy the fish tanks, monkeys and other rainforest animals all around.
Next up, we celebrated Grammy's 60th birthday!  We were happy to coordinate a fun dinner with some neighbor friends and Matt/Jill.  We took her out for pizza and drinks.  Our gift to Grammy was a kayak and we were pretty tame as far as gift giving and joking goes.
Cooper and I LOVED the gambling machines, look closely above and you will see why Cooper is ooohing at it :)
Happy Birthday Grammy!  We love you to the moon and back!
Jenny emailed Mommy some photos from this past HOT week.  Mommy forgot to send some new swim trunks to Jenny's, so never mind the diapered child running all over the grass.  I was able to borrow a suit from Mason.  We had so much fun running through her sprinklers.  We love water fun!
This photo caption should be WATERLOGGED, YIKES!
Daddy took Mommy to the Hospital's Charity Ball on Saturday night.  They got all decked out for a fun evening of food, dance, and auction wins (WI Dells...here we come!)  We enjoyed DQ with Amanda and they enjoyed their amazing non-boxed dinner.
As busy as things are for everyone this time of the year, we make it a point to go for a bike ride or walk each night.  We switched out of the bike trailer (TOO SQUISHY) to the bike seat for Cooper and the tag-a-long for me.  This has eliminated crying and fighting making it way more enjoyable for everyone.  My parents can't believe I am big enough to ride along these days.  People keep commenting on how tall Cooper and I are getting.  I guess that is because I am 4 years old in five more days!!!!!
