Yikes!
I couldn't think of any other title besides, "YIKES" for this week's posting. The pictures below are part of the title and the other reasoning was our busy 4th of July weekend! It was a fun, yet very choatic weekend. Starting with the pictures below... Jenny has a super exciting bouncy castle in her yard. I ask to go to Jenny's a lot when I am at home since we don't have one of these and I love to be busy, busy, busy. Jenny started to take pictures of Mason and I as we were having fun and joking around. Warning*** These are hysterical!
Here is my pig snout picture....
Mommy thinks I look so big as I am running fast around the jumper.
Mason enjoyed pressing his face for silly pictures too!
I begin to feed off of Jenny who is laughing so hard at this point....
If you didn't know me, you might consider me "extra special" by these expressions... no worries, I am OK.

When Mommy came to pick me up, the kids wanted to meet my little bro, Cooper. Kali and Mason are checking him out (I think Kali would like one of these Jenny, but not sure about Mason???)
TJ, Jenny's oldest and my good buddy, looks like he would be a great babysitter, don't you think!?!?
For the 4th, we headed up to Grammy's house on the lake. We packed the SUV, which was no easy feat. We had enough things for a full month! We decided to leave Liberty at our neighbor's house since we honestly did not have any room for her at all!
Once we arrived, we did a lot of boating, waterskiing and visiting. Uncle Matt and Jill were helping tow skiiers during the day and Uncle Matt allowed me to be his co-pilot. I love going fast in the MasterCraft.
After some excercise, we headed out on the pontoon for beverages and some relaxation. My number one priority was to get as much drive time as possible.
Uncle Ben, Aunt Erin, Kyra and Bennett are home for two weeks from Georgia. Bennett is one year older than me and Kyra is 6 years older. Uncle Ben is SO done with kids, but just look at what a pro he looks like with us on his lap!
Uncle Matt and Jill are getting married in December. Jill can't wait to have kids and from the looks of it, maybe they will be the lucky ones to have twins in our family. Great-Grandpa was a twin, so we keeping guessing who the "lucky" couple will be. Mommy hopes it is not her and Daddy!
Mommy is experimenting with her photo shop program, hence the B/W photos. We went to the parade on the 4th despite the rainy weather. We tried to dodge the raindrops but only lasted about 45 minutes before we were ready for dry clothes!
I liked the firetruck and the tin lizzy cars the best. We were hoping to see the Navy planes fly over, like they usually do at the start of the parade, but they must have cancelled due to the weather.
Daddy was in charge of helping me fight the crowd for candy. I picked up about 3 tootsie rolls and quickly wanted to eat them all. Mommy and Cooper stood underneath the overhang to stay dry. In case you are wondering, yes, Bennett, Kyra, Cooper and I all had matching 4th of July outfits on, thanks to Auntie Erin :)

It started to clear up around mid-afternoon so we headed out to a local establishment on the lake for some appetizers and drinks. Here is Cooper in his first bar, classy, we know.

Mommy was re-introduced to Leinie's, so Kyra and I offered to be the Designated Drivers back home (kidding, of course). We were all in fine shape!
So, how is Cooper you are probably wondering? He is quite a sleeper. He is asleep 20 hours or so a day and wakes up to eat, look around, and that is about it. He must have liked the boat, because every picture we have of him he is sleeping away. Again, he is trying to prove to my parents what an easy baby he is... much easier than me!
This picture says it all! Bennett and I are into EVERYTHING and our faces just look so deceivious, don't you think!?!? It's too bad we don't live closer together. I am sure we could stir up lots of "fun" together.
Here is our family 4th of July photo. As you can see, Cooper is sleeping away and I am trying to get away. It will be years before we can get a normal family photo!
Speaking of "normal" photos, we attempted to get a grandkids picture and it was nearly impossible. One of us either has our eyes closed, is not looking, or is just ready to be done with these cameras. Here is our attempts...

That night, I didn't want to go to bed, so Daddy let me come out and watch the fireworks over the lake. Mommy and Cooper watched from the 4-season porch since the mosquitos were humongous! I liked the fireworks a lot but asked for "bedtime" 10 minutes into the show.
Cooper, slept through the fireworks show, go figure.
After our busy weekend, it was nice to be home. I checked our garden and found lots of raspberries on our plants. Our garden is looking great this year, despite some neglect. Mommy was trying to get a picture of me with my tongue through the fence as I tried to bite the berries off the plant. She was surprised that I didn't get any prickles in my mouth.
We had some visitors yesterday... Kerri, Laurie Jo, Lily, Shauna, Maddie, and Claire all came to our house. Claire is 2 1/2 months older than Cooper and Maddie is 8 months older than me. We had fun playing together while the Moms chatted about the "joys" of parenting :)

We were planning on posting our professional photos, but they are in the mail right now. We have some of the pictures back, but we wanted to wait until we had all of them before posting our favorites! We will post our next entry soon so that you can see our family of four. Cooper is getting so big and we know that by the time the pictures are posted, he will look different already! Have a good week everyone and stay COOL!
